The exhibition began in 1984, once a year, is the largest and most influential machine tool professional exhibition in Russia. International well-known machine tool enterprises have set up large-scale model of the exhibition booth, includeAMADA、DMG、 EMAG-GRUPPEN、 MAZAK、MUELLER MACHINES、SANDVIK、TRUMPF, etc.

According to Samodurov, president of the Russian machine tool association, the total output of modern tools and machinery in the country has been increasing despite the current instability of the Russian economy. Production of multi-purpose equipment is declining, he said, while production of CNC systems and machining centers is increasing year by year. China has become the world’s leading producer of metalworking equipment, followed by Germany and Japan. These three countries produce about two-thirds of the world’s metalworking equipment. The improvement of production level and the extensive use of metal processing equipment become the important premise of the future scientific and technological progress.
